are the oxygen sensors from the 5.0 the same as the ones for the 4.0 motor? can i use the 5.0 ones on the 4.0 ??

according to RockAuto they're the same. same part numbers for the v6 and the v8.

O2 sensors are not a big deal, as long as the connectors match.
They are using the same ones even on Taurus/Sable

Just don't get used ones.. or you'll just be having the same problem in a week.
