99 Mounty Bumper question

I have a 99 Mounty and am looking at replacing the front bumper with something other than tupperware. I was wondering if earlier model ranger bumpers will fit or if the mounting is different??? I dont want chrome and I'm looking for something a little more sturdy and easy to modify and isnt going to cost an arm and a leg... any suggestions?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I have 98 mounty and the bumper is plastic on the cover with the inside supports and stuff these are surprisingly sturdy. I totaled a little Kia doing 45 when they pulled outbin front of me and it was only scratched with my fog light missing after the accident. Aren't all the bumpers on rangers and explorers the same as mine with the plastic cover? Or you could build a plate bumper
