99 ranger xlt

I have a 1999 ford ranger xlt with 90 thousand miles and the over drive light turned on and off, after going at a speed of 60 miles and not loose the changes after the third one, i have to stop and turn off the truck and star it again so it will reset de trani, need to know waths the problem, have a nice day and tnx

Welcome to this forum! You have to find out what the fault codes are. The flashing light means that there is a code stored.

the ranger is a 1999 4x4 automatic and the o/d ligth flashes after the 60 miles and i have to park and turn off the truck, the check engine dosn´t turn so i can´t see the trouble codes, i change the trany because the reverse dosn´t work and they put a 03 trany from a ranger :rangertan:

You have to go to place which has a scanner capable of reading OBD-II codes. Not all scanners are able to read manufacturer specific codes or transmission codes.
