When driving down the road at like 40 and I slowly accelerate just to slightly speed up the car slightly chugs and stutters...not badly or violent but enough for me to notice.
I have 110K on it and this is the only drivetrain problem Ive had. If I give it enough gas to downshift it goes away...the only thingI can think of is that its not a tranny problem at all but maybe dirty injectors or a bad air reading...
Check engine light is on also but I havent had it checked out yet. There is a peice of plastic attached to the manifold that looks like a vaccum black and it has a sensor hooked up to it that has apparently encounterd EXTREME heat as it is completley melted...I will take pics if I get the chance.
Not too worried but was looking for ideas as Im getting ready to drive across the country.
