Those bad boys are huge! I love it.

Haha yeah it's a big boy truck now. I honestly don't know how people with taller rigs get inside of them. I have trouble getting in it now and i'm about 6ft 2in. My wife ripped her pants getting in it and she's a skinny little thing lol

The truck looks great man. The whole SOA and sloped body lift looks good.

i love it

I really like the painted fender flares. In their "unpainted" condition, I think they suck. But painted like that and filled out with those tires (even the BFGs) works well.

Hmm....just bought 35's Friday night....may need to buy a b/l and 4.88 gears now. May have to ditch the 1st gen project for sure....lol

Did the SOA have any negative effects on the BW 4406 swap? As far as the driveshafts go?

Haha thanks man. Where are you working in wilsonville now? I quit the job the job I had with factory motor parts off of airport way because it was just to damn far to drive everyday so ive been looking for something in this area for the last month. I worked at the Toyota dealership here in town for two years...It was nice to be able to ride my bike or walk into work but there was alot of BULL going on at the no bull store. I got my 33's back today mostly because my brother in law wanted his 35's back but she drives a lot better now so i'm not going to complain:)

I work at SSI Shredding systems inc, been going well and sorry it took so long for me to reply. It seems like all I do is work now a days.

Russ,

It has been a long time. The last time we wrote, you had the grey Explorer and I just saw a few pictures of your newer Red V8 explorer. Nice man!! So, of all of the lifts that you have experienced, which one do you recommend for a budget lift? I am constantly debating how to lift my Explorer in the future....Shackles/TT....SOA/slope BL...SOA/4in front end lift....Shackles/TT/BL...you name it, I have probably thought of it. I want a set-up that I won't regret of want to change if I follow through with one. Any advice or input would help me out.

Thanks again...

So my my new job just added Wilsonville Chrysler Jeep Dodge to my route, and while I was there yesterday I saw your unmistakable Explorer parked along the edge of the lot. Do you work there?

99ex22,
So, I was reading through the thread, and I know it's a few months old, but I've got a question. It says you did the TT, AAL, and shackles and a 1 inch body lift. I'm pretty sure you said you had 33"s on at that point. How much did those rub? Also, how did you do the body lift for only 1 inch? I know there are three inch kits, but your said the 1 inch lift was easy, so I'm curious how you did it.
I've done TT, 4-door leaf pack (I have a sport), AAL, and shackles should be real soon, so I'm looking for the easiest way for me to fit some 33"s under there. Any advice would be great. Thanks! :)

Or if anyone has advice too that'd be great.

Im pretty sure the sport wheel wells are a tad bigger and you can fit 33's with shackles, aal, and TT. The 1" body lift is easy because you don't have to deal with extensions or longer bolts except for the ones under the back seats if I recall correctly.

His 00 sport has the same wheel wells are you. Only the 01-03 has the bigger wells.

I've considered a 1" body just to clear my 32"s better because they rub..
