I just had my heater core replaced in my Mountaineer and long story short, had to have a different guy fix the A/C vacuum the line and add freeon.

The advice I need is relating to possibly the blower or the venting system?

I noticed first that it isn't blowing out air like it was before, and now when I pick up speed around 40 mph the A/C sounds like it is still blowing but nothing is coming from the vents. Then if I hit the A/C switch again it will kick back in. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Do a search on blend door? Seems everyone's out. I'm having trouble myself for the past week and hardly any replies. It took three ac compressors to find out my leaking 134A problem today. So it's better to do a search like I been doing for the past two days. But most likely blend door is your problem.

Thanks for the reply, I was checking more into it today after getting off work, now no cool air coming out at all, took it back to the initial guy, because I think when he removed the dash to replace the heater core and replaced all the parts he messed the blend door up, or also could be that someone else I talked with mentioned a vacuum leak because when I get up to 40 mph it doesn't blow out the main vents for high A/C. Thinking of taking it to the dealer now. And to top it all off it's really HOT in California this Week...
