a/c clutch bad?

ok i'm pretty sure it is. my ac quit workin and the clutch started makin metal to metal noise so i sprayed it with wd40.. good for a week.. now it's worse.. with air off it tries to spin intermittenly

sorry for the confusing post.. can only type 200 letters on my phone.. i tried to check the freon with the little cheapo single guage and it would fluctuate every 3 seconds as clutch engaged
