well i just got it finished
took me 3.5 hours to evacuate replace the condensor and re charge
it was alot easier than i tought it would be

did you replace the condensor or the evaporator?

the evaporator
i had my condenser tested last week
and it was fine so i had it cleaned

Do 93s use R-12 refridgerant? Did you convert to R-134a?

93 use r 12
but i converted it last year

How about a writeup of how you did it to assist others ?

ok well i think the job is pretty easy
i remove the air filter, i have a cold air intake so it made it easier
than i disconecter the accumulator from the lines
than the blower motor and resister, the 2 heater hoses and the vacuum lines
there are 4 nuts holding the housing to the firewall
one is under the heater hoses there is one to the right side of the housing
one under the housing , i found it just as easy to axcess it from top with a couple
of extensions and the last one is under the passager side of the dash
the are all 10 mm nuts
the housing came out with just a bit of wiggling
the are a bunch of little screws that hold the housing to gether
i have a mitchel repair manual and it is useless for this job
i bought an aftermarket evap and the bottem tube has an incorrect angle to it
so it just bent it carefully back
i put dye in it last week
so when i got the old one out i used our uv light at work and found my leaks
so i re install it back in the same way
i tried separting the halfs but it was much easier to remove as an assemble
once i was finished installing it all back i used our a/c machine at work
i work at a car dealership whiched helped alot
filled and so far so good
