1993 EB 4x4, system converted to R134, everything replaced except evaporator which was flushed multiple times. Parts store hose/manifold assembly has allen head adjusting screw on the back of it next to the relief valve, which is currently screwed all the way in (clockwise). Could this be the problem? Does this screw control the return of refrigerant to the compressor? It is on the return side of the manifold. Blue orifice tube.
This has happened twice, both times following 20+ min. of vaccum and correct charge on professional equipment. It works great, until sitting still (running) on a hot day when it decides to let most of the refrigerant out.
Any help figuring this out will be greatly appreciated, haven't been able to find anything really related with searches.
