A/C problems

My 92 XLT has been acting a little funny. At the begining of summer the a/c was working really well ans then I parked it for about a week and now it doesnt blow nearly as cold as it was before. And now I can hear the compressor going on and off every little while and it never did that before. On the highway it will blow a little cool but then I give it a little gas and it starts blowing warm. Any help on this situation will be appreciated.

You have a leak in the system. Your symptoms are those of an insufficient charge.

Its weird because I took it out today and turned on the A/C and now its working fine so I hope it keeps working but thanks for your help.
