Ok guys need some help/advice, My a/c has been having some issues for a couple of months, Whenever I accelerate hard or get above a certain speed 45-55, The a/c turns off and the defroster turns on, or both cut off. It doesn't always do it, but it is the majority of the time. I can turn it off and back on and the a/c will kick back on (most of the time) but it'll just cut out again. Or I can leave it alone and it'll eventually cut back on. Thinking it might be some type of vacuum issue since the acceleration contributes to the problem. I've already replaced the vacuum control valve and it didn't help. Any suggestions guys? or anyone else who has had this problem? Thanks in advance

Do you mean it quits blowing out the front vents and goes to defrost? Or the a/c compressor completely shuts off and it blows hot air?? If i remember right the blend door (lots of posts on how to fix that) /motor would control where the air is directed to.

Exactly its blowing out the front vents and goes to defrost, but the vents always cut back on whenever I get down below 45-55 MPH, or they just cut back on by theirselves over time, or I can cut the A/C totally off for a min or two and cut it back on and 75% of the time that works. The other 25% of the time, the defroster cuts back on.
