A few issues with my 1997 Mountaineer

Hi everyone!

Just got my 1997 mountaineer from my uncle. Not bad for a free car lol
But I have a few issues with it:
Dashboard gets hot around the cold/hot switch, back doors keep locking (child lock engages by itself), and some weird noise when I accelerate (it stops after I get up to speed, but if I want more speed it starts again).this happens on the right side (front).
Any idea what it can be?

Welcome to this forum! Do a search in the stock 95-01 section of this site for each problem. Don't use too many keywords in the search. It shows more results with less words.
