First time poster here...Forgive me if there's an answer to these somewhere, I've done a little searching. I've got 3 questions, I want to put them in one, as not to clutter up the board and spam. I'm trying to fix the explorer up a bit to get a better chance at selling it and get more money out of it.
1. The Explorer in my driveway will start fine cold, but when it's been running a while and we stop it, and then go back to start, it take some encouragement on the gas pedal to fire (it turns over just fine). I've replaced the plugs. I'm thinking it could be the ECT sensor, as I've seen that elsewhere on the net. Any ideas or can anyone confirm that the ECT is a good place to start?
2. Is there a diagram out there that shows the screws and such for replacing a fender? Looking to replace the passenger front fender, and might go to a yard to pull it, but dont want to damage the "new" one or not have one if i pull the current one off. Any special tools required?
3. I've got a short in the power locks. I pulled the fuse so it didn't do that any more. Any thoughts of where to go? I haven't had to deal with any electrical problems on my other vehicles.
Thanks for your help!
