Hey everyone, I just have a few noob questions.

1. I have a 95 XLT and I think the shocks need replaced. I was thinking of Edelbrock Performer IAS in the front and was wanting to replace the leaf springs in the back with coils. Any suggestions?

2. If I replace shocks, I'd need new springs too. Correct?

I'm mainly just wanting a very comfortable ride and shocks that will last a long time. Thanks in advance.

In the front you have torsion bar "springs", these almost never have to be replaced. As for converting the rear, hope you either have a machine shop or $$$. Why do you want to convert from the leafs? With decent shocks they ride well for a truck ;)

Unless your rear leafs are sagging, you don't need to replace those either.
