I bought a front diff skid and rear leaf skid from Brian1 and had Turdle do his powder coating magic on them for me.

My diff skid went on in 5 minutes! Precision and beefy and perfect. The rear leaf skids are uber stout and look to be more bomber than a Ridler diff cover.

I haven't installed the rear spring skids but that will be done later when spring weather and daylight allows me to do the regearing.

Thanks guys for super work and thanks Turdle for you extra attention to details beyond your control...

Brian1: do you make other bits for our trucks?

I should have had Turdle powdercoat mine. I took them to a local powdercoater in November and still don't have them back yet. Last time I checked, "Yeah we have them, they made it from the front desk to the work room".

Thanks! Just now seeing this. I also make HD transmission mounts and motor mounts from time to time. I have also done extended radius arm brackets and transmission cross member in DIY kit form. Currently, I have the rear upper shock mount brackets (to eliminate the bar pins) and an auxiliary light no-drill bracket that mounts near the cowl/A-pillar under development.

Snap! I have a box to send you!

Mark, I am glad you like these.

I have the advantage of "not having to do this" so my line isn't even a line. And, I do not have a desk.

The pro's can do a lot I cannot do, but I can do a lot they cannot do also. Like get stuff out in a timely manner. I do not sleep well with someone else's parts in my possession so they just gotta get out of here quick. :D

If you are willing to pay for round trip rides, I will get your stuff done and on the way back to you within 3 days.

Turdle,
I'll be sending you stuff in the summer when I get my tranny issue resolved. I'm more than happy with your work and responsiveness. The touch up materials you sent worked exactly as you said it would.

If they don't have them done by April I may take you up on that.

I'm also waiting for my Old Man Emu leaf springs, which I ordered thru 4wheelparts in September 2015, and still do not have.... :(

Do these trans mounts bolt to the 4r70W to prevent the factory style ones from splitting? this is the only thing preventing me from doing a 4406 swap in my Explorer... I do understand this is for 1st gens, but I would figure I would ask, I always forget to.

Brian1 the box will be shipped to you next week. Sorry, I had something come up which made me forget this.

Please PM your address again?

Not sure yet, I'm working with Turdle on this issue presently with no ETA on a mount for it.

malohnes, how about some pics of these goodies installed?

Good idea...I can snap one for the TTB skid but not the leaf skids since they aren't on yet. A good excuse to renew my membership too!

Not to highjack the whole thread, but I am VERY interested in one, if one where to come available. I may just do the swap anyway. Which reminds me I need to buy some ubolt skid plates from you as well.
