hey a while back my door handle broke (drivers) i never replaced t but some JB Weld and two washers worked beautifully...basicly it seems the door handles break off due to the pressure on the two screws near the pull handle itself, the plastic gives out and with no pressure to hold it back the pull handle gives out cause it cant handle alot of pressure. i used two washers and screws wth bigger heads to spread out the pressure more evenly, my pull handle is glued on with JB weld but because of the washer thing it has not broken in two years....i will poost a pic on my cardomain page tomorrow. i just keep seeing brokne door handles alolover the place on explorers, and if you dont mind a washer or two sticking out you may never have to replace yours.
