Alright so sounds like my modulator has gone bad or developed that small leak or whatever you want to call it. So how hard/long does this take to replace?

You have 2 options for remove it. You could either drop the catalytic converter, or you could remove the front seats to get to the access panel under the carpet. You have to remove the heat shield which isn't a big deal. It's a good idea to replace the 2 servos while you are already in this area.

Alright....any say i took the catalytic converter route since i dont have a torx bit big enough to get the seats out. Any special tools i'd need? Estimate on time?

A propane torch (be very careful, and have water close by!), breaker bar, exhaust gaskets, high temperature sealant, anti seize for the bolts, rust penetrating spray, extra bolts, washers, and nuts.

umm how bout if i went with removing the seats? :D

I think you might need a T-50 torx bit. I know that my seats use this. Pull the carpet back. Some people say that the access panel is the correct size while others have cut the floor to make the job easier. I wouldn't recommend cutting the floor unless you are a pro at making another block off plate out of sheet metal. The catalytic converter is still in the same place which leaves only a small amount of clearance.

Ok i'm not gunna have trans fluid shooting everywhere when i take it off will i?
