a4ld Tranny Problems Need Help

Well i ran out all the old gas , pulled the spark plugs and cleaned them up some , there old motorcraft plugs , need to change the oil , oil filter , drop the trans pan , change trans filter , what does anybody have to say about the B&M Trick Shift Fluid ? , i seen it at the parts store and read the back of it , sounds like a ok product , any input would help , but i think im going to drain and flush my t case while im changing fluids , any input is welcome ,and thanks for the help 92exp4x4 for the different trans questions , and also thanks to gmanpaint for the info on the TC and also the TC installation , i found a trick that some mechanics dont tell people , they use styrofoam wedges to hold the TC in place , and it just shreds in the bellhousing and mostly falls out the holes for the oil pan bolts !!

Just cut one end off a 9/16 offset box wrench, to use to hold the TC in place. Install it using one of the lower bell housing bolts and add a washer. When you get the top bolts stabbed and the side pins almost in place, remove it, then stab the rest of the bolts. Simple.

I wouldn't bother with the snake oil trans fluids, just use a good well known fluid.

yea i dont think im going to try it with the wrech in the way , when i used the styrofoam it worked perfect the first time , probably wont use anything else again other than that
