So the other day my ABS light came on, which i figured it was a sensor.

The truck has had a Slight pull to the left since i got it in January, but the light has never been on until a day or so ago. and i kind of attributed that to most likely needing an alignment. which it'll get within a couple months.

Checked the trouble codes, and got nothing, and the speedo / 4wd etc. all still works without issue.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Glad it was fixed.

For future reference, not all code readers can read ABS codes. That capability is usually a step or 2 up in a brand's level of scanners. For example Actron has a couple scanners that don't read ABS codes.

thats kind of what i figured.... thanks for confirming.

any idea why my ST apparently hates sway bar links.???

Are you using moog or another upgraded brand as opposed to an oem replacement? Perhaps check body mounts. If their worn that can cause extra body movement. I would also check ball joints and other bushings. Perhaps an alignment. I'm not too sure but those are a few things I would check.

i had the problem solver MOOGs on it.... it is "lifted"a tad too..... like 2 inches... maybe... im wondering if that may be the cause

Replacement end links are designed for vehicles at stock height. Ideally you want the sway bar eyelets parallel with the LCA's.
Odd thing with Explorer front sway bars is the eyelets are pointing down. Generally you want the center sleeve length lengthened
or shortened the same distance as your lift or drop to stay parallel. Blowing out the blue Moog thermoplastic rubber bushings is very common, they are known for that regardless of torque and use. I blew out three sets, polyurethane or nothing for me.

Thanks for those links, looks like some Allthread, and some pipe will be needed in my very near future.

as a clarification these are the links i had (for about 2 months);

Now when he says "Loaded" referencing the suspension, in the thread, that is just meaning that the truck is supporting itself correct?

Another question.

So i've noticed a clicking noise between about 3-12 MPH, and when i jack the truck up to check components, everything seems fine, except that when i turn the tire the front drive-shaft turns, Is this normal? i turn the tire with just the drivers side jacked up and the passenger tire is still on the ground... but is the front driveshaft supposed to turn? i dont feel this is normal.
