I stopped to help a guy out who needed a jump. I was in the cab with my foot on the brake while he hooked up the jumpers. The brake pedal fell a little as he did this. Now the ABS and BRAKE warning lights are on and I don't have half the brakes as before. I checked and there is no leak and the brake fluid level is good. Sorry I do not have a code, just drove it home and parked it.

Two questions, did I fry the computer? and can I drive it this way to the shop?

welcome

the power surge could of damaged something.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the Ranger section. You should find out what the ABS codes are before replacing any parts. It's either the ABS module or a short in the solenoid block.
