Has anyone successfully done an ABS bypass for the rear wheels only? I was replacing my rear brake line and like a rookie I over tightened the fittings into the ABS manifold and stripped the thread. The pipe wasn't sealing because my flare was bad . . .
I don't really care about the rear wheel locking up and I would rather not go pull and ABS manifold from the junkyard so I'm looking as just bypassing the rear ABS entirely. There are two pipes going into the top of the ABS from the master cylinder. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe these are front and rear, I think one is the primary and the other secondary for safety.
Any ideas or am I pretty much forced to replace that ABS manifold?
