My wife had her Exploder diagnosed and found codes C1230 and C1102.

The first is the center rear wheel speed sensor. Does any one have a part number and where to get it?

I believe the second code can be thrown from the first code, so its a replace one part to see if that solves both. I want to get this repaired soon since we are planning to sell it to make room for our soon to be born daughter. It's a 98 EB Ex 4x4 and it is a bit too small for us, we plan to replace it with a Crown Vic, or Grand Marquis.

That's great, and what was that answer? I have already changed the rear speed sensor with a working one but still no rear wheel speed when hooked up to a scan tool and still the same c1230 and c1102 code.

Did anyone find the answer to dssgod problem? Same thing here changed the rear sensor. Still getting the same codes? Check wires can not find anything wrong. Any suggestions would be great. Did search and most of the ABS problems only tell you to change the rear sensor, and if that doesn't work check connections and resistance. If that is all find then what? Monmix said he solved the problem in April 2006 but did not post what he did or what post helped him.

dssgod have you solved your problem yet????

No, I just haven't had time to dig deeper. I'm guessing that whatevever 2 wires are going to the speed sensor in the back needs to be traced back to the computer and checked for an open or short. I know it's been a long time since I posted but I'll eventually fix it.

Still haven't had a chance to look at it yet

How about that fix?
