Ok so, I guess this is a fairly common problem as far as ABS problems go. My ABS light is on and sometimes when I stop it pulses as if the ABS is kicking it. It doesn't stop nearly as well when this happens and I kinda freaked out the first time.

Here's the deal....I pulled the big fuse under the hood and the little fuse in the fuse panel (#14 I think) I don't care if the ABS doesn't work, but I really hate that light.....anyway to get the light to go out aside from pulling the dash apart and pulling the bulb?

Also, is it likely to be my rear sensor? I know this is common and an easy fix. Can I test it without putting the fuses back in?

thanks

Nobody has any tips for me?

You can test the rear sensor with an Ohm meter, pull the connector out of the sensor, then put the ohm meter on the sensor leads.

If the sensor has more than 0 ohms, and less than infinity, it's probably good. Most sensors are in the 800-1200 ohms, depending on where the tooth from the ring gear is in relationship to the sensor.

When my ABS light came on, that's what it was.
