My abs light comes on then off and then there is a buzzing noize as well as the brakes get hard. We replaced the spindle on the front passenger side . It never did it before we replaced it. Anyone have an idea.

did by any chance you damage the abs sensor when replacing spindle?

yeah it sounds like the sensor might have gotten damaged and when you hit the brakes the abs module thinks your driving off a cliff so its freaking out.

Did you try hitting it with a hammer? It wont help but it may make you feel better...

Don't think so it mostly does it when ya are barely moving and come to a stop , .do u think because the rotor set out i. It did have service rust on it . The guy who put it together says he didnt mess with it. I couldn't hit it I'm in love with it lol.

first i dont know if i would let him work on your truck again cuz iirc you have to remove abs sensor to replace the spindle.

secondly id carefully file off the rust on the sensor and inspect it for damage

No doubt , will try that
