I just finished installing my roadbully 2.5/2 lift kit and noticed my abs light is on. I know I saw a thread a while back about this same issue but I could not find it no matter how I worded a search.

I unplugged the speed sensors when installing the spacers, and the light was not on prior to lifting. I did not however, disconnect the battery before installing. Any ideas? I will look into this further tomorrow, by the time I got done I had to go to work. At least I can sit here and think of how good my explorer looks now. I really like the look! No clearance issues at all so far.

That sounds like the problem i had, though i didnt unplug the senors and damaged one. Hmmmm....... I would take it to a shop for testing. Just to be safe

How did you know you damaged a sensor? Just by looking at it? There probably is no way to reset the abs light, but I have the battery disconnected now.

Ummm NO!!, i accidently smashed the housing of the one while using a prybar and it slipped and slide right on to the housing...........

10-4 lol, I more than likely did the same exact thing. I will check......thanks for the quick reply!

I am going to guess it is because the sensor wires are stretched beyond their limits with the lift and one broke.

my cables were so stretched out after my 3/2.5 rb lift that they were rubbing on the tire and were completely exposed which turned on my light..

oh gosh no!!!! I those things have so much slack!!! you could lift it 6inches and still be fine...........

Well I disconnected the battery and double checked all connectors again, and the light is no longer on. Thanks for all the info guys!

Maybe on yours, but mine were stretched tight!

That could very well be... they are similar suspension types but they are different and proly vary. Yea i was amazed that i could have 3 inch spacers and 3inch body lift without having to move brake lines and other stuff of that matter.

Going to Silver Lake Sand Dunes this Fri-Sat, I will be sure to post pictures as soon as I get back! Thanks again for the help.
