Posting here too for others to check on...
I just got a re-call notice for my 04 for this part. (sensor on master cylinder)
The letter said if I have replaced it already - I would get reimbursed .
I replaced it last year for about $20

Could you please post details of the recall--Date, recall number, specifics, etc--so that I/we can determine if it is specific to our vehicle?

I have a 2004 xlt 4x4 that experiences intermittent abs light flickering. I suspect that this recall may cover my problem, but I have not received notice from Ford.

I just checked now and I had a misread the recall...
Its actually for my 1996 Explorer.. not my 04.
The recall number is 09S09
