My 2002 ABS light has been coming on for years. I have changed the front hubs out numerous times with Duralast hubs from Autozone. The light is now on again and the codes indicate that it's both front sensors. The hub assy's are no longer under warranty, so before I go through the trouble and expense of replacing them, does anyone have any suggestions? Aslo, if I do replace....again....should I go the timken route?

Sealyons,

Just a suggestion.. I had this problem too and I fixed the ABS light problem by replacing the cruise control sensor. If the cruise control is not working, then this could be your problem. The sensor is located by the brake reservoir and cost about 17.00 from rockauto.com

My 04 X just had the same problem. Sensor on the master cylinder was bad. quick fix!

The cruise control works fine, could it still be the switch or do you think it could just be really bad luck with the duralast hubs. I have replaced each side twice already. I am of course out of warranty on both hubs now!
