You will have normal brakes without any of that work. Your ABS (Anti Lock Brakes) only activate when the sensor is triggered by a locked wheel. With no sensor, they will never know the difference. Your ABS light may stay on as a result.

Welcome to this forum! Why would you want to get rid of the ABS brakes? You get an insurance discount for having it in your vehicle, and it's suppose to be safer to have it.

savageexploder indicated he destroyed the original ABS wheel sensors and I would imagine he doesn't want to pay $$ for new ones to get the system back in order..

Of course I'm confused as to why they were damaged in the 1st place since you don't need to remove them to pull off the spindles when replacing ball joints.

Thanks a lot for the quick feedback so i should be fine then another thing is what about the back??? am i gonna have abs on the rear wheels only? anyways off to work i'll check back on here tonight when i get home

Its all or nothing.. if the ABS computer detects a problem it will disable ABS braking and turn on the ABS warning light. As mentioned normal braking will be unaffected.

i did the same thing with mine . smashed the abs trying to get the spindle off. i just got tired of seeing the abs light an pulled the other day. it wont affect braking at all ,it will be the same as if it never came with abs.
