The AC compressor on my 2001 is not cycling at all. I did a quick check of fuses, relays and system pressure and all seem good. Any ideas where else to look would be appreciated.

Did you verify whether or not voltage is actually present at the connector that goes on to the compressor? I had to make a repair to the connector on mine last summer, one of the wires were broken where it goes into the backside of the connector.

Anyway, unplug it and start the engine. Turn the hvac selector to either of the a/c or defroster settings. Probe the terminals with a voltmeter - watch out for moving parts on the engine, obviously. If you jack up the front end of the truck a little you can reach in through the wheel opening to access it without having to worry about getting your hands caught on something that might tear them off. Let us know what you find n' we'll go from there.

Your AC clutch coil could have failed. If you have power at the terminal, check for magnetism on the coil. A simple touch with a screwdriver will do the trick.

Thanks for the answers. A couple other projects are taking priority right now but as soon as I get a chance Ill check power to the clutch.

If the clutch is getting voltage you can remove one shim which locates the distance from the clutch to the compressor. There are s bunch of YouTube videos and writes ups on how to do it. Just google ford compressor clutch not engaging. I did this with mine after 140k and it has been going strong since then.
