AC Discharge hose replacement

My AC hasn't been blowing cold air so I took it into the stealership to have it looked it.

They're saying I have a leak in the AC discharge hose and need to replace that and the orings. They quoted me $617 for the repairs.

Anyone know how intense it is to get to this part and replace it? Hoping the whole front fascia doesn't need to be removed.

How intense, no but it looks like the hose is $50.

Seems like they are quoting roughly 5 hours of labor unless they need to drain the freon and recharge the system.

So I've done stuff like replace rotors, put on hitches, changed pretty much all fluids. Is this something a pretty mechanically inclined person could do or only an experienced tech in your opinion?

would anyone be able to tell me where the hose is, or link an exact picture of it. If I can locate it, i can tell if i can get in there to replace it.

Not that intense but you have to be HVAC licensed to service the system. It is more than just going to Autozone and buying a refrigerant kit. when you crack the system you have to purge with Nitrogen to see if it will hold. Then pull a vacuum to get the moisture out of the system or you will get corrosion issues. Then you have to recharge the system!
