Looking for a procedure, advice, help on removing the Suction Discharge assembly for replacement. The harmonic balancer went bad and sliced through the Suction hose directly behind it.... fun!

Battery removed.
Compressor removed.
Air filter box assembly removed.
Accumulator removed.

What does the Shop Book say about fishing that hose assembly out and around the radiator hoses and the power steering reservoir and fluid hose???

Everything looks to be original there under the hood. Orifice tube looked remarkably clean... 3 tiny grain sized bright aluminum specks on the high-side filter screen. Likely blow out from the condenser when the vehicle first went into service.

Thank you for looking. Any help to get the Widow Lady's carriage back up and running is greatly appreciated.

yep....... remove lower radiator hose and drain. Then remove the coolant reservoir as well as the entire air filter housing assembly. You will need the room. Think Accumulator. Definitely want to remove the power steering reservoir and bracket. Fan and fan shrouds being already removed for the harmonic balancer made a difference for working this project.

YMMV,
