AC Help

I have a 94 with 134a ac. I've had it into the dealership 3 times trying to get the ac to stay working. It works for a several weeks then quits. So obviously there is a leak somewhere. The black tube (evaporator?) is pretty rusted. Should I try recharging myself or should I just bring it in again? I just moved to TX so I'm going to need the AC!

Most parts places like AutoZone, Advanced etc. have the 134a with dye. Pick up a UV light there or at a pets smart.petco and use it in a dark garage. It will find the leak. Get a good refill kit and make sure you never overfill,
