Still cant get my compressor to kick on, but a gauge and some 134 today, was low, so i filled it, but still no go. I belive it may be the "switch" or whatever you call it coming out of the high side line, that sends the power to the comp. Whats it called? Can I test it? Can I unscrew it with out losing all my freon? Thanks.

The compressor is protected by a low pressure cutout switch. If there is too little pressure it will not allow the clutch to engage the compressor. Cutout pressure is about 25 psi. You can jump that switch (located on the accumulator) and see if it is the issue. Remember no refrigerant = no lubrication. BAD bad. And yes you can remove it without losing refrigerant.

The switch is an "open" on the clutch engagement circuit. If the AC is on, and the pressure is not up to snuff, jumping that switch should engage the clutch on the compressor.

Hi first thing did you check ac fuse. Then take test light and check for power on the low side switch check both sides with it pluged in if power at one side but not other replace low side switch if power at both sides check at clutch if power there make sure ground for clutch circuit ok if it is replace compressor clutch
