Ac is cold out of some vents but warm air out of others.

Hey Gang,

The AC in my 02, 4.6L XLT is strange. On the driver's side vents the AC is ice cold, on the passengers side it's like the compressor isn't even running. Would the blend door cause this?

It's low on refrigerant. The liquid comes in on the drives side and the gas leaves on the passenger side. When it's low only the drive side is cold. You have a leak somewhere that needs to be fixed. Common areas are high pressure hoses, schrader cores & caps, evaporator, or condenser.
