hello my 03 explorer. Does anybody have an idea why my low and high side are at 110 while running? The compressor is on and blowing cool, when I shut off the ac, the gauges equalize at 80.

I thought the low side should be somewhere about 25-30

thanks for any tips

Are the gauge valves closed when you are testing?

Make certain that both manifold valves are closed otherwise they will read the same pressure.

thank you, I had both valves open, I will check later and post back.

Much better readings! Looks like the low side is a bit high, and the high side is a bit low.

Thank guys
