- 2003 Explorer 4.0 XLT 4WD
Anyone have insight about this problem?
For some reason the air conditioning on the driver's side is warmer than the AC on the passenger side.
Additionally, the AC in back is also perfectly cool like the passenger side. Also, the AC in both front sides seems to become slightly cooler when I turn the rear AC on!
And I still have that clicking sound coming from the driver's side rear. Even though that's a separate problem, I thought I'd mention it.
Is it that I simply need more refrigerant? I read that on one post.
I have a 2003 Explorer XLT with the 4.0 and the standard dial-type HVAC controls, with additional controls for the rear on the roof, both in the first and second rows.
