add fog lights

Just traded a 2001 Escape XLS for a 2002 Explorer XLS.

I retrofitted fog lights onto the Escape with little trouble and will probably do the same to the Explorer.

Has anyone here added fog lights to their 2002 Explorer XLS and/or have suggestions?

Guess not

No matter...I installed "Pilot" amber fog lights from "AutoZone" last night and they are looking good!

After closer inspection of the Explorer, the fog lights easily mounted in the provided "cutouts" of the air dam area.

The only tricky job was cutting a switch mounting hole in the dash just below the headlight switch but all went well.

IMHO, the installation looks OEM (pics will be posted to my web site shortly, replacing the pics of the Escape I traded).
