Adding a message center

I bought my base model ex and it didn't come with a message center.
I have seen the digital read out and it looks the same as one with a message center.

Anyone know if I can buy or retrieve a message center for my 04 X? Is it a simple or complex instalation?

Unless you know a ton about wiring then no...From the message center you will have a wire harness that has wires going to everything it reads on. Such as a wire going to you gas tank...I't would be alot of work to run it all. I know a few guys on here that have done it but it is not fun...Cheers

Thanks for the input. I'm an do alright with wiring, but I hate running wires all over cars....
I guess I will get a calculator so I can figure out my gas mileage and one of those suction cup compasses so I know what direction I'm going
