I want to add a Subwoffer to my stock system. I have already the premiun system installed in my 96 XLT (Cassette Radio with 6 Disc changer). I like the sound, but i want a louder bass. I want to build my own woffer (like those jbl`s located in the cargo area) and i want to add an 8" , maybe a 10 " where the storage is. Ok, making the box is not really a problem to me. The problem is the wiring. How i can route the wiring for my woffer ? Using a "High level input" from an amplifier work ? My actual thoughs are running 4 wires from both rear speakers to some equalizer (from a high level eq, too), and from there connect to the amp.... Can i do this ?
After that, im planning to use a mono amplifier, or a stereo with bridge, with the crossover at 60 hz....
