2014 Limited Explorer
Had my 2014 Explorer a little over a year and today will be another trip to the dealership. Driving to work the SUV jumped violently 2 times, once while trying to shift at 20mph. The second time was stopped at a red light on an incline and when started off it did not want to move and I had to slowly get off the road and park the SUV. After the first time the Advance Trac light and the Powertrain malfunction/reduced power lights came on. Also the Stability Control System and Stability Control System Off lights were on. The Advance Trac continued to stay on until I parked the vehicle. Once Roadside Assistance came to pickup the warning lights had cleared and the dealership did not see them; until I showed them a picture on my phone of these warning lights. Has anyone experienced this or has a solution. I love my Explorer but I do not like the poor performance I am receiving.

Welcome to the Forum Chloe.:wavey:
Not familiar with the 'reduced power' indicator although the Explorer will go into selected cylinder deactivation if the engine overheats. This will result in a decrease in power.
