I need to change out the 60/40 split bench seat in the 2nd row for captain's chairs / bucket seats. I have two younger kids and a German Shepard that need to all survive a long road trip this summer. Separate seats seem to be the ideal solution. Try as I might, I can't find a definitive reference that says what donor cars will bolt into a 1995 Explorer.

Any help or history here with bolt-in swaps? I can do some drilling and cutting but no welding.

Hey 525 - thanks for the effort but....

... I've seen that post and it requires some welding / bracket fab.

I remember seeing some version of the Explorer that came with buckets in the second row. I just need to find the year and see if they'll bolt into a 1995.

Rear buckets were never an option in a 91-01 Explorer. They may be in the later model Explorer, but they will certainly not bolt up to your '95.
