After the horrible braking performance with my '92, one of the first 5 or 6 major things I'm doing to my '97 is going to be switching to ART rotors.

So, I'm definetly changing the front, but I'm wondering if it would be worth it to also change the rear as well?

Any advice from those that have installed only the front versus those that have installed all four?

Why not.

Unless you really don't want to spend the money, I don't see why not. You'll have to replace the rear rotors at some point. Why not just do all four now.

I got all four and I'm very happy with them.

i have a dumb question: why does everyone go with ART slotted rotors instead of something like the ones from performance products?...arent the performance products ones cheaper?

im thinking about making the switch over the summertime, maybe.

(btw, id go with all 4 unless that breaks the budget. then i would do fronts now, and rears later.)

The ART rotors are special because they have been cryogenically treated. They take them down to -240 C over 24 hours, and then back up to normal over 24 hours. This helps to align all of the metals molecules and in theory gives you a much stronger much more durable metal. ART rotors are said to last as much as three times as long as normal rotors. I don't know how they'll actually last, but I've had mine for almost a year and they still look brand new.
