I have a head gasket leaking exhaust into the coolant its not causing the engine to run bad but its causing the cooling system to over pressurize and forming air pockets in the system. would it be okay to use one of the liquid gasket repair like BARS for a temporary fix untill i have enough money to properly fix the gasket or replace the engine. Limited on funds right now was off work without pay for an injury for a month.

What does everyone think I would like as much information before i do anything. The engine is a 4.0L SOHC in a 97 Explorer Sport 4X4.

It may or may not work.
It may or may not clog your radiator.
It's a band-aid, not a fix.

Up to you, really. There are several head gasket leak fix products on the market.
Research them and make your choice.
