Advice Needed

Hey guys, I recently bought a ford explorer (2007 XLT 4x4) and need advice on how to upgrade it. I was thinking about a 1.5" lift kit and running 265/75/18 tires with rims 17x9 -12mm offset. I have been searching the internet and can't seem to find what I'm looking for, any suggestions? Im also looking into removing the running boards.
