Well the Expos up for sale. And im considering my options on new rigs. Price Range is bout 16k. Im looking for an SUV 2wd or 4wd. It will stay stock besides some minor appearance mods prolly. Maybe some nice rims down the road. I want a vehicle that will ride nice, wont break, and be an all around good rig. I was at first wanting a Chevy Tahoe or Sub. 01+ but for what im wanting they are out of my price range, so i was considering an 02+ Expidition. Dont really want an explorer want something a little bigger. What ever i get is going to be all optioned out. Leather, sunroof, 3rd row (pref) and all that. If yall have any ideas for other makes and models please let me know, and your opions on the Expeditions good or bad.

Thanks

Caleb

Traitor... here we go again :p leaving the explorer world.

I liked the looks of the Expeditions, not the new ones but the older design. I cant exactly see why you would want to change vehicles again though?

ready to move on in my life, for now im through with lifted rigs, im through with all that, I want a vehicle that i can use as a family vehicle in a few years, one thats goignto last me, i dont want to have to be buying a new one in 5 years cause thats when i plan to buy a house, just want something that is nicer, leather, more room, easier to get into, last longer, more dependable.

So your going to get one now..... then in 5 years youl be ready with a vehicle thats ready for the next round of serious maintenance? Id just keep saving the money till the time comes man. It doesnt matter if you buy one now or 5 years down the road, your still going to be spending the same money, except later on perhaps on a vehicle that will be more reliable starting off with a new house... I just think your bored of the one you have now :D, i know im sick of mine, too many problems.

The canadian speakith the truth. If you get something new i give it 6 months before you start modifing past a set of shinny rims.

Nope i wont, i have a girl, that wont let me, both me and her are looking towards are future to much to let me do that.... well ok i lie, i might lower it an inch or so, but nothing like bags, and it defiantly aint getting lowered....

ok so i might also consider 05 Merc Moutineers or Explorers.... Opions on the vehicles are welcomed...

She wears the pants in the relationship, i have a friend just like that :p

Id look at a trail bruiser, my mom has one with the variable v8, great on gas but has the power when you need it. Very soft ride, interior is plush, and price is very good.

Well, if you want a family vehicle, you're in Honda Odyssey minvan territory. If you want an SUV, then its Honda Pilot, which is built on the Odyssey platform. I prefer the Explorer, but women really like Hondas. My 92 Explorer is showing its age, and my lady friend keeps saying, Oh, Honda Pilot, they're gorgeous!" Plus, (another thing that women like), they have a reputation for reliability and requiring zero maintenance (the Hondas, not the women) :p .

As long as it isnt an element...

Your gonna need all the money you cn get for college, although Im just assuming you are going to college.

2 15" subs,lifted 9" and 37" tires, i doubt college will be an issue :p

Haha must be nice.

dodge durango is a pretty decent ride. Smooth, nice interior, and not too spendy. my mom had one and i loved it. Wished it was mine. The v8 they have is sort of a gas guzzler, but other than that, its got pretty much all your asking for.

best friend had an expedition as well. Tons of room in those things, but the ride is kind of different, in his anyways. It seemed pretty stiff and the steering i thought was extremely sensative at high speeds, but maybe it was just his....

Not to worried bout college, and thats not cause im rich, brandons, in my lift, tires and system, i have prolly 2k and most that is the tires.... Im not rich, far from it, but i plan on attending Community college, at night and get my 2yr bs degree, right now im attending vo tech school to get a jumpstart so i can get a better career in the next year or so... Even though my manager talked bout moving me up to assistant manager in the next few months...

but i dont know iv been looking more at cars lately too, like the g6, grand prix, malibus.... and the like...

im still taking advice so keep it coming...

Good luck with college man, im startin in september :) And i wasnt suggesting you were rich, i was suggesting you wouldnt have a problem paying for college :p
