Advice on this package

Right now I have a Pioneer DEH-330 HU and Pioneer 6x8 2 way speakers up front - it sounds good but lacks low end. What I'm looking at is a Kenwood KAC-729 amp that has 300w bridged and a MTX 12" 6000 series sub. My goal is mostly to get something that sounds good, but also has enough bass to show off a bit if I turn it up.

I haven't been able to demo them together because the one store that has the MTX sub doesn't stock Kenwood and I don't like any of the other amps they have but both sounded good hooked up to other brands.

Thats sound good. Nothing to crazy but it will be enough to crank it. What price range are you looking at for all?

For the stuff I'm looking at right now its $250can for the amp, the sub $180can, then box and wiring kit will be $160can - so total price $590can or about $380US.

I could go a bit higher but that's about my limit and with the exchange rate sucking US websites or ebay tend to get expensive really fast.

that sounds likle a decent setup for some bass.
