Aftermarket fog light ????

I want to install aftermarket fog lights, I know how to do it by the instructions, here is my question.

I am looking for a schematic to run the fog lights into the light switch to be activated when parking lights come on "like factory" I would still have the relay and such because I know the factory light switch can't handle the extra load. I want to be able to shut off the the fogs, when I shut off the parking / headlights. I looked in my haynes manual for my answer, but it's kinda limited on that stuff.

See post #3 in Lighting FAQ & Answers the wire from post/pin # 86 will go to what ever wire you want to turn on the fogs. Just splice into the parking light wire and connect to #86 and the fogs will be on whenever the parking lights are on.
You could add a switch in the wire to pin 86 (as shown) to have more control of when the lights are on.

Bill----Keep in mind my truck did not come equipped with fog lights. Will your above drawing still work?

Yes. If you just splice the wire from the 86 into the parking light wire under the hood the fogs will come on whenever the parking lights are on.
Doesnt matter if you have OEM fogs or not.
