A/C compressor cycles even though A/C is NOT selected, nor defrost, but instead full heat and through floor setting or vents or anything.

Is this normal, or what am I most likely looking at as bad?

THANKS!!!

As dumb as it is... normal.

It cycles in any mode except "Off", "Vent" (dash-only vents), and I think bi-level. Any other mode it starts cycling.

If you want to kill it completely, wire up a seperate switch inline with the compressor clutch coil connection.

THANK YOU!

I appreciate the answer.
