Air conditioning wont work

96 Ex 5 speed man.
Air con works on max setting only. All other settings on the cooling system blow hot air even the fresh air setting.
Suction hose that connects to the heater tap only works on the max setting. New tap recently installed.

use ythe search feature and search blower "blower motor" "heater core" and "blend door". See what qualites apply to give you a better starting point

sounds like you might have a clogged orifice tube.
and when the air is on max, its getting more pressure so its blowing, where as the other setting dont have enough pressure.

also check to see if your compresser is kinda a bit more noisey, as metal fillings come off inside the unit and thats what clogges the orifice tube.
