2013 Explorer XLT
We have a 2013 Explorer XLT and have noticed a few times that when shutting off the air conditioner by the main knob, it comes right back on. Are we not doing something right?

Do you have the my touch? You could be touching the auto button right next to the knob and not realize it. I've don't that a few times lol

Welcome to the Forum mchiz.:wavey:
The only panel I'm familiar with is the Sony touch panel and it has only 1 knob and that is for the radio. I doubt that is the one you are talking about but I'm sure other members will be able to assist.

Hi mchiz,

Do you have manual A/C controls? If so, I recommend checking out the section in the 4th printing of your Owner's Manual that outlines climate control. This information begins on page 157. If you have dual automatic control, information for this system begins on page 159. You can download a free, digital copy of your Owner's Manual here: https://owner.ford.com/servlet/ContentServer?pagename=Owner/Page/OwnerGuidePage

If you're concerned that your A/C isn't functioning normally, drop by your dealership so they can check it out for you. If you need additional assistance, send a PM with your details my way and I'll get your regional customer service manager involved. I'll need your VIN, dealer, mileage, daytime phone number, and full name to get started.

Crystal
